Life is encased,
In a glass bevelled keeper,
Where sands that flow freely,
Are moments that matter,
And the memories we carry,
Are but crystalline grain,
Free falling slowly,
Like the patter of rain.
*
Life is unmeasured,
And its certainty vague,
Where time is oblivious,
Content to let fade,
And faced with oblivion,
A mere life time away,
We turn the glass over,
So we still have today.
Lovely…
I love the way you observe life and place it in such beautiful words. Stunning.
Thank you for such a lovely comment 🙂
A beautiful way of describing it. I enjoyed reading this poem.
